- Woman: The transmission cuts out there, sir. (the tape voice keeps gagging) No, I, guess it keeps going. (there is another gag and the message cuts out) There we go.
- Fry: Wow, back in my time the internet was only used to download pornography.
- Farnsworth: Actually, that's still true.
- Mayor Poopenmeyer : (To Farnsworth) I now present you with the academy prize, which we confiscated from Dr. Wernstrom after it became apparent that he was a jackass.
- Farnsworth: Oh dear, I'll have to invent something new in the next ten minutes. Perhaps some sort of death clock...
- (Leela plants the bomb into the garbage ball)
- Leela: Get ready to run, we've got 25 minutes. (sets off the bomb, timer jumps to 15:00) Uh, 15 minutes. (times jumps to 05:00) 5 minutes. (timer jumps to 6h:00) 6h minutes?
- (Bender picks up the bomb and flips it over, realizing that the timer is counting down in seconds instead of minutes)
- Bender: There's your problem: the Professor put the counter on upside down!
- Leela: That idiot! It wasn't set for 25 minutes, it was set for 52 seconds!
- Fry: (screams) WE'RE GONNA DIE! Right?
- Bender: Right.
- (Fry screams again)
