- "It's dolomite, baby!"
- ―Professor Farnsworth[source]
Dolomite is a heat-resistant mineral capable of surviving in lava. Seymour was frozen in dolomite in the 21st century and was almost recovered from it by Professor Farnsworth. Bender is 40% dolomite.[1]
Dolomite is a real mineral, composed of calcium magnesium carbonate. Professor Farnsworth's enthusiasm for it ("It's dolomite, baby!") may be a reference to the 1975 "blaxploitation" film Dolemite.
