FXX is an American basic cable channel owned by the Walt Disney Television unit of The Walt Disney Company through FX Networks, LLC. It is the partner channel of FX, with its programming focusing on original and acquired comedy series and feature films for a primary demographic of men aged 18–34. Disney obtained ownership of FX Networks, LLC after purchasing most assets from 21st Century Fox. The channel is home to It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Archer, Cake, and Dave. The channel also airs reruns of The Simpsons.

On September 17, 2021, it was announced that FXX received non-exclusive rights to all 140 episodes of Futurama, and would begin airing the show in November 2021.[1] It premiered on November 15, 2021. It originally aired from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. on weekdays,[2] but starting on January 31, 2022, the show moved to 12 a.m.-2 a.m. on Mondays through Thursdays, and 12 p.m.-2 p.m. on Fridays.[3] As of July, 2024, the show airs from 12 a.m.-2 a.m. on Tuesdays through Fridays, and 11 p.m.-1 a.m. on Sundays, going through the midnight hours the following Monday. Occasionally, FXX will air Futurama early in the morning after a movie on any day of the week.

Just like The Simpsons, FXX airs seasons 1-4 of Futurama cropped to 16:9, with seasons 5-7 remaining untouched, just like how SyFy used to air the show, and how Comedy Central currently airs the show. Unlike the other networks Futurama has aired on, FXX airs every episode with their original content ratings and content descriptors, meaning that seasons 1-4 air with the ratings varying between TV-PG and TV-14, just like how the show aired on the Fox Network, and every episode from seasons 5-7 being rated TV-14 with no content descriptors, just like how the show aired on Comedy Central.

As of July, 2024, it is unknown if season 8 and season 9 of Futurama will air on FXX.
