Flamo is a being of pure solar energy whose race inhabits the photosphere of the Sun. After failing to overthrow the Mystic Aldermen of the Sun, he escapes to Earth. He attempts to turn the Earth in a flaming ruin so he can rule it but is foiled by Bender and is imprisoned and taken back to the Sun by the aldermen.
