Glurmo is the Slurm Worm public face of the Slurm Factory on the planet Wormulon. He works for the Slurm Queen. He gave the employees of Planet Express a tour of the Slurm factory. When he was cut in half he became two copies of himself. Later, he partakes in Democratic Order of Planets duties as he was the foreman of the jury that convicted Zapp Brannigan in New Jersey and again during a meeting over Yivo in Washington, D.C.

- Some sources such as closed captioning spell his name as "Glermo". The original spelling of "Glurmo" is a closer match to the product he sells, Slurm. His name is an abbreviation of Guillermo, a Spanish name that translates to English as William (or Willy, as in Willy Wonka.)
- He is a parody of Willy Wonka from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, as the episode he first appeared in was a parody of that story, along with Soylent Green.
