"I Know What You Did Next Xmas" is the sixth episode of Season 8 of Futurama and the 146th episode overall.
Synopsis[]
Bender and Zoidberg travel through time to attack Robot Santa.

Plot[]
The Planet Express Crew are preparing for Xmas by shielding the Planet Express Buidling to protect it from the coming of Robot Santa. While preparing for their defenses, Zoidberg notices a card inside Bender's stocking. Bender opens it up and the card has the words 'I KNOW WHAT YOU DID NEXT XMAS!' in it. Bender then throws the card away onto a pile of documents of his criminal charges.
Meanwhile, Amy and Kif are about to watch an Xmas special on TV with Fry later showing up to join them. The special begins with both Kwanzaabot and the Chanukah Zombie approaching a bunch of children and asking them if they want them to listen to them talking about either Kwanzaa or Hanukah. The children, however, would rather listen to the origins of Robot Santa. So both Kwanzaabot and the Chanukah Zombie reluctantly tell the children about how Robot Santa was made to deliver gifts at a very fast rate, but an error caused him to judge everyone as naughty and go on killing sprees. Amy immediately turns off the special and apologizes to her kids (who starts crying with Fry) for letting them know about the origins of Robot Santa.
Later on, Professor Farnsworth announced he knows how to fix Robot Santa: Go back in time to fix the error that made him violent. To do so, his Forwards Time Machine, which has been modified to travel back in time, appears and he decided to travel through time alone in order to prevent time paradoxes. He travels back into the year 2801 where the Planet Express Building was just a meat market. He sneaks up behind Robot Santa, who is mistaking everything round as cookies and uses a penny to switch his Naughty-Nice Sensor. While trying to go back to the future, he turned the time machine's lever too hard, causing the time machine to travel further into the past. Farnsworth decided to sit down and watch events such as the Big Bang of the current universe and the death of the previous universe in reverse before returning to the year 2023 to announce to the rest of the crew he fixed Robot Santa, much to their delight.
The crew decided to spend the lead-up to Xmas with their families with Fry and Farnsworth going to the Bronx with Cubert, Leela going to spend time with her parents and grandmother in the sewers, Hermes going home to spend time with Labarbara and Dwight and Amy spending time with her parents, Kif and her children. This leaves both Bender and Zoidberg alone and the two tried thinking of ways to spend their lead up to Xmas before getting the idea to travel back to last Xmas to kidnap Robot Santa there and make their friends miserable. So they do so, not knowing that they actually travelled forward to the Xmas of the current year, and kidnapped Robot Santa there. Bender and Zoidberg then throws Robot Santa into the Planet Express Building's old meat locker but Robot Santa then breaks out and attempts to kill both Bender and Zoidberg. The two tried stopping Robot Santa with the Forward Time Machine, but it doesn't work. However, Robot Santa then slips on Zoidberg's homemade dumpster nog and was electrocuted by some Xmas lights, knocking it out.
Panicking, both Bender and Zoidberg attempts to get rid of Robot Santa's body before the rest of their crew returns. But as days past, all their attempts fail with Bender's final attempt is to eat Robot Santa's corpse. But before he can do so, the rest of the Planet Express Crew and their families show up to celebrate Xmas at the place, prompting both Bender and Zoidberg to disassemble Robot Santa's body, hoping nobody would notice that the body fragments belonged to Robot Santa.
Eventually, Robot Santa shows up, much to both Bender and Zoidberg's surprise. However, more surprising is that Robot Santa is still his murderous self despite Farnsworth fixing him. That's when Farnsworth realize that it was he was made Robot Santa violent as his Naughty-Nice Sensor was in the right position the whole time. Everyone hides from Robot Santa as he enters the building only for the Bender and Zoidberg of the past to show up and kidnap him before returning to the past.
Both Bender and Zoidberg confessed that the two killed Robot Santa, but nobody's mad about it considering Robot Santa is still violent and the two pretty much saved everyone. Bender, however, is still confused about the 'I KNOW WHAT YOU DID NEXT XMAS' notes that are left all over the Planet Express Building and is wondering who is responsible. Robot Santa's severed head, who served as a punch bowl, talked and said he left those notes, saying he knew that Bender and Zoidberg would become friends. Bender is upset but then feeds Amy's phone to Robot Santa's head.
