Limbo is a sport wherein a person has to bend backwards and walk under a low pole, without falling backwards or touching the ground. In Futurama limbo has become an Olympic sport; in the episode A Flight to Remember, Hermes Conrad is seen preparing for the limbo event in the 2980 Olympics. Another limboer is Barbados Slim, ex-husband of Hermes' wife LaBarbara.
