The Old Planet Express Ship refers to two ships that were used by the previous Planet Express Crews before the new Planet Express Ship. One ship was used until the crew was killed by the Space Bees and the other until the crew was eaten by the Space Whale.

The Sting[]
The old Planet Express ship, used by the Planet Express Crew before Fry, Leela, and Bender, was a purple tailed and cyan bodied variant of the same model ship. On the tail it sported a slightly more primitive version of the planet express logo, and had a smaller engine. The ship crashed in the killer beehives while on a mission to get super honey and was found nose down in said hives. None of the crew of at least two different males, one of whom was the leader survived. They did, however, manage to leave a black box outside of the ship.
Möbius Dick[]
Another old Planet Express Ship appears in "Möbius Dick". Unlike the new Planet Express Ship it's more green and less cyan. It was also damaged by the Space Whale.
