Sharktopus hanging from ceiling of Planet Express ship.
The sharktopus is a creature from the planet "Vergon 6", shown only once in the episode "Love's Labours Lost in Space". This creature predates the movie Sharktopus (2010), and thus is thought to be independent thinking.
Appearance[]
The sharktopus appears only one time, as Nibbler is shown staring at the captured creatures of Vergon 6 before eating it off-screen.
However, after the destruction of Vergon 6, another sharktopus can be seen dangling on one of the remains of Vergon 6 alongside several other animaliens.
Trivia[]
Despite the name, the sharktopus seems to include characteristics of a walrus/octopus hybrid, rather than a shark/ octopus hybrid.
